French foreign minister talks to Al Jazeera

Representatives from at least 70 countries as well as international organisations have gathered in Kabul, the Afghan capital, for an international conference on the future of Afghanistan. The government of Hamid Karzai, Afghanistan's president, will seek greater control of billions of dollars in development funds. Bernard Kouchner, the foreign minister of France, spoke to Al Jazeera's James Bays ahead of the conference about how the summit is a turning point for peace in the war-torn country. July 20, 2010
