thing is lyric guy, this song is made all the better by the awesome and totally innovative motown sample at the end. thats what makes some covers superb in their own right... its funked up recycling... and the bonus is that mark ronson and daniel merriweather are both soooo hot...

No we don't know much better- but I'm pretty sure Morissey didn't intend for a song that could possibly be about isolation and the vapidness of the world to get completely overshadowed and distorted by 'big beats', trumpets and nasal singing. This is like postcards of paintings- similar, but something is lacking i.e. the art becomes a commodity

The thing with Mark Ronson's covers are that they're incomparable to the originals. They're generally completely different styles. For example, Creep... I'm not really explaining it too well, but this is just the only way I can try >_>
